Life coach

​Ólöf completed a training course in coaching at Evolvia Coaching in December 2022 and an advanced training course in December 2023. Having herself received life coaching at a turning point in her life, she saw how well this method works in such situations. The program further convinced Ólöf of the usefulness of coaching to adjust focus and gain a new perspective on big and small tasks that come our way in life. In addition to one-on-one coaching, she uses coaching methods in specially designed workshops for small groups. Ólöf is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), works according to their code of ethics and holds an ACC certificate.

Artist

​Ólöf has a final exam in visual arts (MHÍ 1987), dance and choreography (EDDC, Holland 1993) and classical solo singing (SSD 2021). She also has a master's degree in applied culture and communication (HÍ 2016). Ólöf worked for 20 years in dance and theater as choreographer, dancer and performer. She has also given solo concerts, done radio shows and published a book. Cultural mediator

​Ólöf has a wide range of work experience under her belt. She taught for years at the performing arts department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts, mainly on the acting course. Ólöf is a founding member of Dansverkstæðið - working space for choreographers. Ólöf trained in Liz Lerman's Critical Response Process and has applied that method to the benefit of numerous performing artists and groups.
